The deal must meet the following requirements:

  • The minimum deal size is US$10,000 Cisco List of products (not including services).
  • Both eligible switching and wireless products must be on the same purchase order.
  • The wireless deal size must be 20 percent to 75 percent of the total eligible switching dollars on the purchase order.
  • The deal must be registered in Cisco Commerce Workspace.
  • Only a single phased order is allowed.

Promotion Overview

The Cisco Borderless Access Promotion is designed to help deliver solutions with the latest Cisco Borderless Access wired & wireless innovations. It provides protection and promotional discount incentives to channel partners who actively identify, develop, and win new business opportunities.

The promotion offers an incremental discount to the first partner with a Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW) registered and approved proposal.

Products qualifying for the promotion include select products from the Catalyst Access Switching and Cisco Unified Wireless Network portfolios. 

Channel partners will benefit from this promotion by:

  • Taking advantage of Catalyst 3K, 4K, or 6K opportunities to upgrade with wireless to increase deal size.
  • Receiving quick discount approvals due to a highly efficient process.

Netformx DesignXpert Cisco Borderless Access Promotion Advisor – Available Now

The DesignXpert Advisor qualifies the Bill of Materials (BoM) as defined by the promotion criteria. The Advisor shows a list of all eligible parts within the Borderless Access promotion and enables uploading the upload of the qualified BoM to CCW export format (outside the Advisor).

The Advisor automates the following functions:

  • Identify the opportunity
  • Calculate the wired/wireless mix
  • Register the deal
  • Create the quote

The Advisor is simple to use with 5 easy steps:

  1. Drag, drop and configure desired components
  2. Add the Cisco Borderless Access Promotion Advisor
  3. Review advisor results, messages, and totals; take any corrective action, if required
  4. Re-launch the Cisco Borderless Access Promotion Advisor to ensure BoM totals meet promotional requirements
  5. Upload the qualified project to a Cisco.com ConfigSet
